Group 1 saw a lot of controversy in round 1 as Jengis Kong interfered in Dean Draven and Adam Facaa's match to ensure that he started ahead of the competition in Group 2. Dean and Adam's match was ruled a no contest due to interference whilst Jengis scored a 2 point pin victory.
