WOW.... let me just start off by staying, as the General Manager of WSD I am so very grateful for our roster, in the last year we have grown so much; the characters, the wrestling, the presentation - you should all be very proud of yourself. And a big thank you to the over sold out crowd (well over 160 people!)
The 2025 Holy Gaels Cup delivered on every front: shocking returns, championship shifts, stable implosions, and unforgettable debuts. Again... as your General Manager, I couldn’t be prouder of the passion and power our athletes brought to the ring, and I want to take a moment to break down the chaos, drama, and triumph from one of our most electric nights of the year.
THE RETURN OF A RANGER
The undercard began with a thunderous surprise. Zachariah the Messiah came into the ring expecting mystery — but I can promise you, he never expected Ranger. The former Bosh Boyz partners collided in a match heavy with history, and while Zachariah managed to pull out the win, there’s no doubt the reemergence of Ranger has sent ripples through the locker room. Is this a one-time return, or is Ranger here to stay? Only time will tell.
MYSTIC NATION X VS. THE SPECTACULAR STABLE – STABLE WARFARE
Next up was a match that had everyone talking — Mystic Nation X (Dean Draven, Mystic Jessie, and Sahara), our current holders of almost major WSD title, faced off against the ever-confident Spectacular Stable (Domino, Aragon, and Freya Fury - the current reigning Women's Champion).
The match was a powder keg, and it exploded when internal tensions within the Spectacular Stable reached boiling point. Domino and manager Stevie Mac walked out on Aragon and Freya, abandoning them mid-match, which allowed Mystic Nation X to capitalize and pin Aragon for the win.
But that wasn’t the end of the story. Freya Fury, furious (see what I did there), demanded a WSD Tag Team Championship match — and the champs accepted. Mark your calendars, folks: June 29th at Winter’s Tension, it’s Mystic Nation X vs. Tank & Skate Union (TSU) for the gold. This is far from over.
A NEW FIGHTERS CHAMPION CROWNED
Our semi-main event was a Four Way Elimination match that promised chaos — and delivered. CJ Young entered as the reigning WSD Fighters Champion, but his night ended early, shockingly eliminated first by Scott Justice.
Justice’s momentum didn’t last, as Chris Stevens forced him to tap. That left us with Alistair Fleming and Chris Stevens, and what followed was a war of attrition. In the end, Fleming dug deep, locked in a submission, and made Stevens tap. Alistair Fleming is your NEW WSD Fighters Champion, and the era of Fleming begins!
THE MAIN EVENT – HOLY GAELS CUP BATTLE ROYAL
And finally, the big one — the 2025 Holy Gaels Cup Battle Royal.
The ring was stacked with talent and surprises, including debuts from Jack Normandy, RJ Lightning, and Ludo Jareth, alongside WSD mainstays like Aragon, Domino, Mystic Jessie, Sahara, Torrent, Ranger, and Zachariah.
As bodies flew and alliances crumbled, it came down to two men: Zachariah the Messiah and Ranger. Former partners. Now rivals. In a brutal exchange on the ring apron, Zachariah hit an Unprettier that sent Ranger crashing to the floor, crowning Zachariah the Messiah as the 2025 Holy Gaels Cup Winner.
Let it be known — Zachariah didn’t just win the Cup. He seized it.
From start to finish, Holy Gaels Cup 2025 proved why Wrestle Strong Dojo is the proving ground for champions. And now, all eyes turn to Winterslam and Winter's Tension, June 28th & 29th. The stakes are high, the matches are set, and the future of WSD is about to be reshaped once again.
Until next time —
Stay Strong, Stay Fearless, Stay Dojo.
— Jack Hellering, General Manager of Wrestle Strong Dojo
